Evangelos Zoumbaneas was born in Athens in 1968. He is a certified nutritionist working in Greece since 1993. In 1994 he completed specialization training in nutritional and psychological management in eating disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Obesity, Binge Eating Disorder) at the National Center for Eating Disorders in the UK (www.eating-disorders.org.uk)
President of the Hellenic Institute for the Study and Research in Nutrition and Principle of the Center of Education and Training in Eating Disorders (www.keadd.gr) and the exclusive affiliate of the National Center for Eating Disorders of UK in Greece.
From 2006 till 2007 he has worked as the head of the nutritional department for the Adolescent Health Unit (A.H.U.) with Scientific Supervisor Artemis K. Tsitsika M.D. (www.youth-health.gr/en)
He continues to act in a consulting role as an external associate.
In 1997 he founded the scientific group ”DiatrofI” – Applied Interventions in Nutritional Training and Dieting (www.diatrofi.gr)
Since 1999 he is the publisher of the scientific magazine “Diatrofi” Health and Wellness which continues to be the most recognized free press magazine about nutrition in Greece.
